About The Project

MBM provided general contracting services on the construction of a 44,000 SF, one story retail grocery store for Whole Foods Market in University Heights, OH. MBM was first awarded the shell construction and subsequently awarded the interior build-out as well. Because the parking was limited due to the confines of the mall perimeters, a rooftop garage was designed and constructed. The project was awarded the AIA Honors Award for Architectural Excellence primarily due to the “use of the rooftop space for parking and how the building relates to the neighborhood and the redeveloping areas of Cleveland.”
