UPMC Shadyside Hospital Living Wall

About The Project

MBM provided general contracting services for the construction of a 12-foot tall, 120-foot long green wall outside of the UPMC Shadyside Hospital Emergency Entrance. The colorful planters were filled with various unique flowers like Jack Frost, Creeping Jenny, Crimson Curls, Lime Ricky, Blue Ivory, Cat’s Meow, Lady’s Mantle and more. In between the planters are plenty of faux green panels to fill in the green wall. The lights under the planters illuminate the wall, showing the beautiful wall even at night. The project was completed in 4 months.
