Chartiers Enterprises New Office Building

About The Project

MBM Contracting worked with Desmone Architects to construct a 7,800 SF new office building for Chartiers Enterprises in Carnegie, PA. The new office building includes a large showroom, conference room, restrooms, and multiple offices for accounting, sales and estimating staff. Vibro stone columns were used to increase load bearing capacity and drainage of the soil while reducing settlement potential. The columns also provided value engineering cost savings. Pre-construction coordination was key to avoid costly delays during the vibro stone column installation. The project started in the summer of 2016 and finished in the spring of 2017.
